About Romina Burger

My name is Romina Burger and I am a New York State Licensed Social Worker and Certified School Social Worker currently providing psychotherapeutic services to young children, adolescents and clinical guidance to families. As a bi-lingual Spanish, English speaking clinician, I am able to work closely with diverse populations. In my work, I utilize a range of modalities when providing individual, group and family therapy. These modalities include but are not limited to CBT, DBT, ACT, trauma-focused CBT, art therapy and play therapy. My experience includes treating children and families diagnosed with ADHD, ODD, anxiety, depression and PTSD. I currently hold the title of lead clinician in Hibuki-Therapy International; a therapeutic treatment for children impacted by war and other traumatic events. I have worked in a range of settings including schools, article 31 clinics and foster-care agencies. I have experience providing both tele-health and in-person therapeutic services. I am passionate about improving the lives of those in need through holistic active support and empathetic guidance.
